Dashboard

See your studio totals, count down to your next show, check dancers in, and track your to-do tasks from your ShowSculptor home page.

Written by Joe Naftal

The Dashboard is your home base in ShowSculptor. It gives you a quick look at your whole studio the moment you sign in: how many families and dancers you have, which show is coming up next, and what's on your to-do list.

What can the Dashboard help with?

  • Seeing your studio at a glance: families, dancers, routines and shows, all in one row

  • Knowing exactly how many days are left until your next show

  • Jumping straight into Check In & Check Out on show day

  • Keeping track of the To Do List tasks assigned to you

  • Keeping an eye on your text Message Credits so you don't run out mid-season

Why use the Dashboard?

Recital season moves fast. Instead of clicking through several pages to see where things stand, the Dashboard pulls the most important information onto one screen. Start your day here and you'll always know what's next.

What makes the Dashboard so special?

  • Show-day ready. One click on Check In/Out takes you from the Dashboard straight to scanning dancers in backstage.

  • Built-in countdown. Every upcoming show shows how many days away it is, so nothing sneaks up on you.

  • Personal to you. My Pending Tasks only lists the tasks assigned to you, so every staff member sees their own to-dos.

  • Always up to date. The numbers update on their own as you add families, dancers, routines and shows.

So how does the Dashboard work?

Here's a quick walk-through of everything on the page.

Step 1: Open the Dashboard

Click Dashboard at the top of the left sidebar. You can also click the ShowSculptor logo from any page to come back here.

Step 2: Check your studio totals

The cards across the top show how many Families, Dancers, Routines and Shows are in your studio. The Shows number includes past shows too, not just upcoming ones.

If your studio sends texts from the shared ShowSculptor number, you'll also see a Message Credits card with your remaining balance. Click it to see your credit history or buy more credits.

Good to know: Texting a US or Canada number uses 1 credit, and an international number uses 3. Each paid plan includes 500 credits per year, and you can buy more in blocks of 500 for $5. If your studio texts through its own Twilio or HighLevel account, the Message Credits card won't appear.

Step 3: See what's coming up

Under Upcoming Shows you'll see your next five shows, soonest first. Each one shows the show name, date and start time, venue, and a countdown of how many days away it is. A countdown of 0 means the show is today.

Click a show's name to open it, or click View all to see every show.

Step 4: Check dancers in on show day

When it's showtime, click the Check In/Out button on that show's card. It takes you straight to Check In & Check Out for that show so you can start scanning dancers in.

Step 5: Review your tasks

My Pending Tasks lists the To Do List tasks assigned to you that aren't finished yet, sorted by due date. If a task is past due, its date turns red and says (overdue).

Click Open to work on a task, or View all to go to the full To Do List.

When you're all caught up, you'll see this message:

Common questions

Why isn't my show showing under Upcoming Shows?

Upcoming Shows only lists shows with a date of today or later, so make sure your show has a date. Only the next five shows appear; click View all to see the rest.

Why is my Shows number bigger than my list of upcoming shows?

The Shows card counts every show in your studio, including past shows. Upcoming Shows only lists future ones.

Why don't I see the Message Credits card?

It only appears for studios that text from the shared ShowSculptor number. If your studio uses its own Twilio or HighLevel account, credits don't apply. You can check your setup under Messaging, then Settings.

Why is My Pending Tasks empty?

It only shows unfinished tasks assigned to you. Tasks for other staff live on the To Do List page. If tasks are assigned to you and still don't show, ask your Studio Admin to check that your login is linked to your staff record under People, then Staff.

The numbers just show a dash. What does that mean?

The Dashboard is still loading. If the dashes stay for more than a few seconds, refresh the page. Still stuck? Go to Support and click Submit a Support Ticket.
