Adding Dancers to a Dressing Room

Add dancers to a dressing room one at a time, by pasting a list of names, or by selecting several dancers on the Dancers page, and remove dancers from a room.

Written by Joe Naftal

Go to Dressing Rooms and click a room to open it. There are a few ways to add dancers.

One at a time

Click Add dancer…, type a name and pick the dancer. They're added right away.

Paste a list of names

  1. Click Paste list.

  2. Paste the names, one per line, as First Last (for example, Ava Bennett).

  3. Click Add matching.

Names are matched to dancers already in ShowSculptor. A message tells you how many were added and lists any names that didn't match.

From the Dancers page

  1. Go to People, then Dancers.

  2. Tick the dancers you want, then click Dressing room in the bar that appears.

  3. Choose the room and click Assign.

You can also assign one dancer from their own page. Dancers already in the room are skipped.

Remove a dancer

Click the X on the dancer's name in the room. They're removed right away.

Good to know

  • A dancer can be in more than one room, for example a different room for each show.

  • Turn on Dressing room at Check-In in a show's check-in options to show each dancer's room when they sign in.
