Costume Looks

Build a routine's costume look with a main costume, accessories, tights and shoes, set sizes and prices, add photos, and use more than one look per routine.

Written by Joe Naftal

A look is one complete outfit: the main costume plus any accessories, tights and shoes. Most routines have one look. Add more (Look A, B, C) if some dancers wear a different version, like a soloist.

Add a look

  1. Go to Costumes, or open a routine and go to its Costumes tab.

  2. Click Add look. A new look opens.

  3. Give it a Look name, like "Sequin dress" or "Soloist", and click Save look. The name prints on costume orders and labels.

  4. Click Add main costume and fill in the details (see below).

  5. Add any accessories, tights and shoes.

The Total cost adds up the base cost of every piece in the look.

Main costume and accessory details

  • Name, Vendor, Style number, URL and Color.

  • Cost: the wholesale cost for the smallest size.

  • Available sizes & incremental cost: tick each size it comes in. If a size costs more, enter the extra amount. For example, Cost $60 with XL +$5 means an XL costs $65. Sizes come from the vendor's setup.

  • Description and Included accessories.

  • Main display image and Gallery photos: drop in photos. Hover a gallery photo and click the star to make it the main image.

Tights and shoes

Click Add tights or Add shoes and pick from your Tights Setup or Shoes Setup list, then choose the color. Tights fill in their base price automatically.

Good to know

  • Add the main costume first. Accessories, tights and shoes unlock after it's added.

  • Each look has one main costume, one tights and one shoes, and as many accessories as you need.

  • Tick This dance has no ordered costume for routines that don't need a costume order. Their dancers are left out of costume orders.
