Costume Pickup

Scan costume labels with a barcode scanner or your device's camera to mark costumes as picked up and automatically email the family a pickup confirmation.

When families come to get costumes, scan the label on the costume bag to record the pickup. Costume Pickup is part of Production Pro.

Scan a costume

  1. Go to Costumes, then Costume Pickup.

  2. Choose Barcode Scanner (USB or Bluetooth) or Device Camera.

  3. Scan the barcode on the costume label, or type the number and press Enter.

  4. Check the dancer, routine, look and sizes, then click Confirm picked up.

The order is marked Picked Up, and the family gets an email with what was picked up and when.

Good to know

  • If a costume was already picked up, you'll see a note. Confirming again sends the email again.

  • If the family has no email on file, the pickup is still recorded.

  • Changing a status to Picked Up by hand on the Costume Orders tab doesn't send an email. Only scanning does.

  • Staff need the Costume Pickup permission to use this page.
