International Phone Numbers

Add phone numbers from outside the US and Canada so texts reach families, whether you type them in or import them from Excel.

Written by Joe Naftal

ShowSculptor treats a 10-digit phone number as a US or Canadian number. For any other country, choose the country or include the country code so texts reach the right phone.

Typing in a number

On the family form, click the flag next to Phone 1, 2 or 3, choose the country, and type the number the way you normally would.

Importing from Excel

Start the number with + and the country code, for example +44 7700 900123 (UK) or +61 412 345 678 (Australia).

Good to know: Numbers without a + are read as US or Canadian if they have 10 digits. Local formats that start with 0, like 07700 900123, won't work in an import.

Texting international numbers

  • Texts you send from the SMS page go to the family's Phone 1. Check-in and check-out alerts go to every phone number on the family.

  • From ShowSculptor's shared number, a text to a number outside the US or Canada uses 3 message credits instead of 1.

  • The shared number is a US number, and some carriers outside the US block or filter it. If families aren't getting texts, connect your own Twilio or HighLevel account in Messaging, then Settings (Essentials or Production Pro).
